This Course on Basic Immunology covers the basic concepts of immunity, components of the immune system including a brief account of the antigens, antibodies & their types and antigen processing & presentation.

After completing the course, the learners will be able to

  • distinguish between innate and adaptive immunity
  • summarize the cells and organs of the immune system
  • describe the properties of antigens and antibodies
  • illustrate the processing and presentation of antigens
