This course introduces the learners to the basic concepts of developmental biology in general and the development of chick in particular.

Learning Outcomes:

After completion of this course, the learners will be able to

  • understand the basic concepts of developmental biology
  • explain the process of development of chick 
  • compare the organogenesis of chick at various times of incubation
  • describe the development and functions of extra-embryonic membranes
  •  justify the role of Hensen's node as an organizer
