This course introduces the learners to the basic concepts of developmental biology in general and the development of chick in particular.

After completion of this course, the learners will be able to

- explain the process of development of chick
- compare the organogenesis of chick at various times of incubation
- describe the development and functions of extra-embryonic membranes
- justify the role of Hensen's node as an organizer
